Christmas Celebrations

Last Friday was full of the Christmas spirit here at Krebs! Our Brimingham, Huntsville, and Newnan offices had our Christmas party during the day. We played a lot of games and had so much fun. Our Huntsville office then participated in the Providence Area Businesses Christmas Tree Lighting Event that night

Krebs hosted our Huntsville Tailgate event last Thursday. We had a great turn out this year. We would like to thank Matt Reynolds, Scott Lee, Carney Holland, Zack Chapman, and Billy Mahan for their technical presentations, and Andy Whitt for his State of AL Legislative Updates. Wallace State Community College Visit

Cari Moyer had the opportunity to return to Wallace State Community College to share her career path and success story with current students today. Jill Bishop accompanied her to discuss current opportunities at Krebs. Thanks Wallace State Engineering Technology for having us!

22nd Annual Low Country Boil

Krebs hosted the 22nd Annual Low Country Boil on Friday, and it was a wonderful time! We had an awesome lunch from Kathy G & Co., and had presentations from Mark Smith, Caleb Leach, Scott Lee, and Austin Maynard. Thanks to everyone who attended, we hope y’all enjoyed it as much as we did!

Matt Reynolds Has Joined Our Team

Krebs is pleased to announce that Matt Reynolds, PE has joined our team to lead our Huntsville office.

Matt is a 2008 graduate of Auburn University with a degree in Civil Engineering. He is actively pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of North Alabama. Matt is dual certified as a Professional Engineer and a Grade IV Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator. Matt has experience in Water/Wastewater Engineering Design, City Master Planning, Wastewater Utility Management, and Defense Sector Operations.

Matt was born and raised in Huntsville where he still lives with his wife and three sons. In his free time, Matt enjoys playing golf, hunting, and staying active with his family in the outdoors. We are thrilled to have Matt join Krebs, and we look forward to watching his success as he manages the Huntsville office.

MUB Eastside WWTP Improvements

The Municipal Utilities Board of Albertville, Alabama (MUB) has successfully completed the construction of two new aerobic digesters at the Eastside Wastewater Treatment Plant. MUB’s meticulous attention to detail, exceptional quality of work, and extensive expertise across all trades involved have produced results that rival those of top-tier contractors. Krebs is honored to be part of this achievement and looks forward to continuing our partnership with this esteemed client on future projects.

Swan Creek Trunk Sewer Phase 3 Progress Photos

Construction on the Swan Creek Trunk Sewer Phase 3 in Athens, AL is underway!  The first manhole has been set, and the 42” gravity sewer HOBAS pipe is staged and ready to be installed.  Check back soon to see more progress on this project!

Krebs is excited to announce the opening of our new South Alabama office in Daphne, Alabama. We look forward to becoming a part of this growing community and having a presence in one of Alabama’s most vibrant and beautiful areas. Our new location will help us better serve our existing clients in the area and also establish relationships with new clients.

Rob Vaughan will manage the new office. Rob has over 20 years of experience covering a broad range of engineering and construction for drinking water, wastewater, and general civil projects. He joined Krebs in 2020 and has been working in the Birmingham office. We are excited to see the work Rob will do in South Alabama.

Barbeque in the Garage

Krebs hosted our Annual Barbeque in the Garage at our Montgomery Office last Thursday. We had a great turn out and enjoyed getting to see everyone. We want to thank everyone who took the time out of their day to attend. A special thanks to David Diab, Matt Adams, and Eric Reidy for their presentations.

36th Annual Mayor’s Golf Tournament Benefitting the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation

Krebs had the opportunity to sponsor the 36th Annual Mayor’s Golf Tournament benefitting the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation. This golf tournament helped raise funds for STEAM opportunities for students and teachers in this community. Our associate Will Barrett was able to team up with Dan McCrory from Bayou La Batre to play in this tournament.
