Oscar Patterson Control Valve

Madison County, Alabama, is seeking bids to furnish and install a new Control Valve and all appurtenances on Oscar Patterson Road to operate the New 1.5 MG tank on Walker Lane, perform all necessary driveway and road repairs, perform final landscaping, and restore the entire site to preconstruction condition. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with the specifications and conditions set forth in the bid package. The bid package can be obtained from the Madison County website at www.madisoncountyal.gov or www.questcdn.com with reference number 10057169.

The deadline for Contractor questions is March 12, 2026, at 3:00 PM; there will not be a pre-bid meeting. Contractor is responsible for checking the Madison County website for posted addenda. The bids will be opened in Room 700 of the Madison County Courthouse, 100 Northside Square, Huntsville, AL 35801, at 2:00 PM on March 19, 2026. Mr. Vince Moody will be the point of contact at (256) 746-2888. A Bid Bond is required to be submitted with the bid. Performance Bond, Payment Bond and evidence of insurance will be required prior to execution of the contract. The period of performance is 90 calendar days to substantial completion (not including delays for material delivery).

Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Engineer. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the state licensing board for general contractors must be licensed under the appropriate/applicable provisions of state law, and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Engineer; the bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner’s judgment, the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
