Creekwalk Sanitary Sewer Improvements

Sealed bids for the Creekwalk Sanitary Sewer Improvements- Bid No.: 024-007 will be received by the City of Prattville at City Hall, 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067, until 9:00 a.m., Thursday, May 2, 2024, and at that time publicly opened and read aloud at said location.

A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Prattville City Hall located at 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067 in the Council Chamber.

A summary of the work items is included below:

Construction of approximately 850 LF of 8”-15” diameter PVC sanitary sewer main and with 8 manhole assemblies along the Creekwalk area of downtown Prattville including minor stormwater improvements and site improvements including approximately 700 SY of new concrete paths, 350 LF of concrete curb and gutter and 650 tons of bituminous concrete resurfacing.

To be eligible for consideration, bids must be submitted on complete original proposals made available by the owner. Bid documents (including plans and proposals) are available through the Quest Construction Data Network at www.questcdn.com for a fee of $22.00. Drawings and specifications may be examined at the office of the Engineer, Dodge Data & Analytics, Isqft and CMD Group.

Guarantee will be required with each bid for at least 5% of the amount of the bid (not to exceed $10,000.00) filed in the form of a certified check or Bid Bond payable to the City of Prattville. Bid Bonds shall include certification that the bonding company is listed in Circular 570 of the U.S. Treasury Department. Each bidder must submit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to submit 100% performance bond and a 50% payment bond. Contractors are required to apply for all permits (City of Prattville local permit fees will be waived).

Each bidder must be licensed as a Contractor in the State of Alabama in accordance with provisions of Chapter 8 of Title 34 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, and must submit with this bid satisfactory evidence of such license.
